Getting Started
To start out this blog, I wanted to introduce myself! I am working in a preschool classroom in Kansas City, MO. My passion for teaching 3-5-year-olds started when I became a Jumpstart AmeriCorps member. I loved the program and the impact I was making so much, I came back twice as a Team Leader, guiding my team to provide the best supplemental education to our class as possible. It was quite an experience and one I will cherish forever. Because of Jumpstart, I changed from studying Biology and wanting to become a doctor, to studying Early Childhood Education and wanting to teach in a preschool classroom. That's where I am today!
